About
I studied Fine Art for six years; firstly at Brighton University where I completed a BA (hons) and then at New York University where I was a Fulbright scholar. When I returned to the UK I taught art, at further and secondary level, for the next thirty years. It was a privilege to teach but now a joy to return to my own practice. I am currently working with mixed media, focusing on natural forms gathered on walks and from my garden. I aim to evoke memory and the sensation of depth through the use of ‘worked’ layered surface.
